Dramatic rock music out of the UK? Hi, sign me up please!! inFade just released their new single “Embers” a couple weeks back and like… if I wasn’t already dying to head over for Reading & Leeds next month, I’m truly dying now. The UK music scene is always doing something interesting, and inFade is proof positive.

There’s a very specific subsection of music that I can only classify as “Transformers music”. It’s just songs that make me see Shia LaBeouf & Megan Fox running away from robots in my mind. All Transformers music is dramatic, but not all dramatic music can be Transformers music. inFade’s new single absolutely fits the mold. I listen to “Embers” and can hear Optimus Prime giving a speech about how they’re here to fight for good.

I love the addition of the strings section in this track. I’ve been obsessed with watching rock bands perform with orchestras — aka watching Bring Me The Horizon at Royal Albert Hall 600 times. It just brings something so special to the composition. I’m excited to see where they go next with this (and hopefully catch them playing a show in Leeds eventually).

If you want to listen to inFade’s new track along with a bunch of other songs I think are cool right now, follow this playlist!
