So many gifts, so little time. There’s a holiday gift guide for literally everything. I’ve seen infinite ideas ranging from tech accessories to literally mailing someone a potato.
Whenever I browse these lists, I feel like serious music fans are forgotten. Sure, things like headphones or speakers are always included…but what about the things we don’t yet realize we need? The things we don’t realize we can have because we don’t know they exist.
Don’t you feel lucky to have me on the 3rd day of Blogmas?
Vinyl Subscription
If you know your friend/family member loves vinyl but you find it hard to pick out what they’d like, this might be a good option for you. Vinyl subscription services will either pick records based on your loved one’s music tastes or they’ll send a cool pre-selected record every month. You can usually buy a subscription for anywhere between one month and one year, so the cost of the gift is up to you!

Having trouble deciding which record service to choose? Check out my post outlining each company’s subscription service and let me know if it helps!
Funko Pop! Vinyl
Honestly, who doesn’t love Pop Vinyl? They have them for literally everything, so you can appeal to people who are a fan of…well, anything. There are multiple versions of each character from Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Harry Potter but I’m just out here looking for John Oliver.
The best part is that there’s a whole subsection devoted to music. I’m sure you’ve seen the eras of Gerard Way immortalized in plastic at your local Hot Topic (I own all of them), but it goes far beyond that. Every memorable version of Michael Jackson is somewhere out there, along with Jimi Hendrix, Slash, and Lemmy Kilmister. Hell, the Misfits Fiend has his own Pop Vinyl.

I stumbled upon a site not long ago called Pop In A Box that sells all Funko products for around 33% less than you’d find them for at the mall…and their sales are epic. On Black Friday, I bought 7 of these for $30. That’s normally the cost for 2 of them. So if you want to browse and find some for each of your fanatic friends, my referral code should get you a discount!
Record Dividers
These are a bit pricey, but they’re perfect for the vinyl snob in your life. Nothing says “I love you” like alphabetical dividers for your record collection, and nothing says “I’ll love you forever” like buying the matching set for their 7″ records.

Koeppel Design has a huge selection of products for record collectors, for whichever way you want to organize your wax. I chose the genre dividers and even have one with my name on it (I cry). If you don’t know anyone spending every last penny on vinyl, maybe the CD dividers would be a better choice. And hey, if all else fails…there are book dividers too.
Music Inspired Enamel Pins
Enamel pins are very ~in~ right now, and you can never have too many of them. Plus, they’re great if you need to buy gifts for a ton of people and don’t want to bankrupt yourself!
Here are a few of my faves at the moment:

And because I can’t pass up an opportunity to show off my dumb pins, hey I also have a music related pin.

If you were lost before, hopefully this gave you some gift ideas and took away some of your stress. If not…I’m sorry. I’ll try to do better next year.
